BBC National Orchestra of Wales requested a hero image for a concert aimed at Key Stage 2 students. The brief was the feature creatures and aspects of Welsh Mythology. The direction for the illustrations was to make something with a handcrafted and whimsical quality. Something that can capture the imagination. The original concepts were physically handrawn but colour, texture, assembly etc were done digitally.
